One thing that helps me with keeping up motivation to lose weight is to think about how life will be different when I reach my goal – I’ll feel better, have more energy, less aches and pains, reduce my risk for certain diseases/conditions and of course look better! When I’m considering skipping a workout or eating too much of a favorite food, these things all seem a little farther away and I don’t want that . . .so I pick myself up and keep going.
