Days out

Yesterday I went out for the day with 2 lovely friends. We went to a country house estate called Dunhem Massey. The large house was used as a military hospital during the first world war. We had a lovely light lunch there, I had carrot and honey soup with a wholemeal roll.
It poured down the whole time but luckily was not cold, we spent time round the house. The gardens look beautiful but we’ll have to save that for a dry day!
A big thank you to Elaine for driving us there. A lovely day with Elaine and Andrea.
Today I went with Jonathans to West Kirby, nice and sunny out. We went to Lattitudes for all-day breakfast and a wander round. Now it’s raining again!

Well, getting weighed tomorrow night. Yet again had too many forgotten nibbles this week. This coming week I shall make more of an effort.
Still struggling to keep my blood sugars steady, but tightening up what I am eating will certainly help.
Am in work all week cept Friday as this is when I go into hospital for the day to get my shoulder manipulated under anaesthetic. last time when I had my right shoulder done I felt so sick from the anaesthetic and intravenous morphine and tramadol mix. Felt better after a few days. Will need to take painkillers for a few weeks afterwards.
Hah might put a stop to the snacking!
Am going to lighten my hair. I actually prefer it dark but it’s  hard to look good with pale and washed out skin!
Tried a dress in that I wore at Christmas, it was very tight then, and now it’s much looser, more comfortable.

Bye for now!

Walks

Managed to go for a early evening walk with Neil round the bigger block, it was nice out, Neil’s back started hurting him though. Then later about 9:30pm J and I persuaded R to go for a walk round the smaller block. We had a good chat about stars and planets because it was dark. The kids think it highly amusing that I didn’t know the sun was a star. Planet on fire I thought!
Did spend a big part of the day sleeping which I tend to do when I’m feeling a bit down. I guess I know how R feels sometimes, well, a lot.
Neil made a nice lamb curry for tea. Also he gave our back garden grass another cut and used the strimmer too.
Getting weighed Monday night (tonight). Not terribly looking forward to seeing how much weight my ‘picking’ has gained me.

Sunday cleaning snoozing!

Did a lot of cleaning in the morning, dusty. Have eaten well today, my lot are having a burger takeaway tonight, I am having healthy lean mince with carrots onion and gravy, then some fruit.
Did have a snooze late afternoon! Must be getting old!!

We’re still not doing any exercise (as a family or individually). Which annoys the heck out of me.
Tomorrow we get off our butts.

Me and one of our cats Pika! Pika is fast asleep!
Don’t know if I’m looking forward to getting weighed tomorrow? I think I’ve done quite well this last week, I’ve avoided snacks and extras, eaten plenty of veg, though not so good eating fruit.

Work and weigh-in

Got weighed in work today. I had stayed the same.phew!!!!!!!

Went for a walk, in the rain round the lake tonight with Colette. It was raining but felt good going for a walk.

Colette and I look cold but it wasn’t cold actually. I think if it wasn’t for Colette texting me, making me go for walks, then I probably wouldn’t go. So thank you Colette.

Was v naughty and had thin crust plain pizza tonight but didn’t eat all of it.

Will walk to Heswall tomorrow morning I think. The more walking I do the better.
