Eating v bad

I have been eating all sorts and anything on the basis of being v stressed. It’s like I don’t want to have to think about what I am eating it all, therefore I haven’t. I have not given any thought to the Slimming World Plan, or any healthy eating whatsoever.
Not good.
I know I have gained some weight as trousers are tighter.
I feel sluggish and bloated.
Should I give my Slimming World class a miss tomorrow night?
No
I will go. I will cringe about my weight gain but I will get motivated by the class consultant Julie and the rest of the class. I will not give up. I know I’m tired, I’m stressed, I’m weary and do feel down, but, am sure things will improve, I hope they improve.
Have started painting the kitchen white. Why? Because I want to. Today I went round to a lovely friends house (with 2 other friends), to do some cleaning. Good exercise! And great to switch off and chat to friends Sarah, Collete and Dave.

Planning on mowing the back garden tomorrow at some point. All exercise is good, now I just need to get the food back on track.

Food Planning

I rarely do any food planning, which is often my downfall. I come home from work (having been in work 8am till 5pm) and am usually tired and hungry. Can’t be bothered cooking a healthy meal therefore eat whatever is easiest and quickest which is mostly not healthy.
I should stock my freezer with healthy meals to cook, plan and make meals ready the night before or give Neil or J instructions to cook a healthy meal ready for when I get home (happens once in a blue moon)!
What have I eaten today?
Lunch-jacket potato, ham, salad,egg,cheese and a Muller yogurt.then a cookie and a piece of birthday cake plus to pieces of vintage cheddar. No planning.

Feeling motivated

After the Self Care course I am feeling fairly motivated. I am determined to reduce my intake of sugary foods. I want improved blood sugars and to lose weight.the course has set me off in the right direction.
Neil made a lovely chicken stew for tea. I did have a bowl of cornflakes earlier this evening, but was just the one bowl!!!!

I can do it and I will do it.
