Tuesday

R had her first GCSE English exam this morning. J and I walked round the park oh yeah and we did go to cafe. I had breakfast but barely ate any of it.
I had my physio in the afternoon. Went to a friend’s house 6:30pm for coffee, thank you Sarah, Dave and Jaki. And I said no to cakes (French fancies), my favourite.
Pika (one of our 2 cats) came in about 11pm and appears to have been bitten on his back near his tail. It looks v nasty and Pika did cry out in pain whilst trying to lick the wound. We are going to take him to the vets tomorrow.
Neil has been crippled last few days with back pain, very severe. He can barely move.
Feeling just a little bit stressed.

What have I eaten today?

1 sausage/1 egg/1bacon/slice wholemeal toast
Skinny latte
Sugar free jelly
Muller Yogurt
Bacon/tinned tomatoes
Packet Mccoys crisps (13.5 syns)
Skimmed milk tea/coffees

Not exactly a balanced diet but still

Pleased I did some walking today. Maybe tomorrow I can do some more?

It’s now 1:20am and I can’t get to sleep.

Lunch

Took J out for lunch today to a local pub. Very nice. It is so lovely out, feel I should be outside in the sunshine!

Was debating whether to have a coffee in Heswall but came home instead. Maybe I can get Neil to go for a walk later? Feeling a bit post-lunch lazy at the moment. I do like to sleep!
Went for a walk round the block with Neil, blew a few cobwebs away. Feeling a bit blah, sometimes it’s hard to get on top of feeling down moods.
In the middle of cooking a Slimming World quiche for later and lunch tomorrow.
Cottage cheese , tub of
3 eggs
Mix altogether and bake. Usually I pop other things in it like onion, tomatoes or peppers but didn’t have any in the fridge.
Time to relax now

Sleep please

Can’t believe that I’m awake at 4am still and I’ve got work in 4 hrs.
Was v bad on eating this evening, had 2 desserts of tiramisu, Tescos. Also 2 mini mini donuts. Topped off with a non too healthy tea of a breaded turkey thing with 2 potato waffles and 1 and 1/2 slices bread and butter.
Think I’ll hop on the scales in work later this morning!
Did my shoulder exercises today, shoulders feeling great though still some pain when I’m in bed. Thank goodness for Zapain.

Take away the takeaway

Chinese fried beef with cashew nuts in yellow bean sauce with boiled rice (J paid!).
In my defence, I’d had a long day working 8:30am (hour for lunch) till 4:30pm. Home then out to work 5:30pm till 8:30pm. Looooong day.
Still feeling puffed out when walking and weirdly, when talking too much?????

Am totally managing to avoid chocolate, 1st day today!!!! Whoo hoodoo. It is easy to eat something and not realise you’re doing it so I must watch out for this.!
Jaki picked us up from work and called in for a cuppa which was nice. Too tired to watch tv tonight. Mind you, only just come up to bed and OMG it’s almost 1am already.

Pressed the snooze button on the alarm too many times this morning and ended up at the bus stop with soaking wet hair (having had a shower at home) and no time to use the hair dryer.
Getting weighed by Karen the nurse in the morning. She’s nit gonna be happy, no weight loss this week I’m pretty sure?
Time to read/sleep.

Got weighed at the diabetic clinic today – not nice hearing those kind of numbers. On the plus side my BP was 106/84.

Work was ok today……haha, helped by it being Friday! We are, or really me, wanting to all go out tomorrow (me, Neil and J&R). I’d quite like to go to a craft centre. Need to do some gardening, can’t do much as knackered me joints unfortunately. (Moan, moan).
