Days out

Yesterday I went out for the day with 2 lovely friends. We went to a country house estate called Dunhem Massey. The large house was used as a military hospital during the first world war. We had a lovely light lunch there, I had carrot and honey soup with a wholemeal roll.
It poured down the whole time but luckily was not cold, we spent time round the house. The gardens look beautiful but we’ll have to save that for a dry day!
A big thank you to Elaine for driving us there. A lovely day with Elaine and Andrea.
Today I went with Jonathans to West Kirby, nice and sunny out. We went to Lattitudes for all-day breakfast and a wander round. Now it’s raining again!

Well, getting weighed tomorrow night. Yet again had too many forgotten nibbles this week. This coming week I shall make more of an effort.
Still struggling to keep my blood sugars steady, but tightening up what I am eating will certainly help.
Am in work all week cept Friday as this is when I go into hospital for the day to get my shoulder manipulated under anaesthetic. last time when I had my right shoulder done I felt so sick from the anaesthetic and intravenous morphine and tramadol mix. Felt better after a few days. Will need to take painkillers for a few weeks afterwards.
Hah might put a stop to the snacking!
Am going to lighten my hair. I actually prefer it dark but it’s  hard to look good with pale and washed out skin!
Tried a dress in that I wore at Christmas, it was very tight then, and now it’s much looser, more comfortable.

Bye for now!

Lovely day

Had a lovely day out in Chester, just J and I. He parks quite away from the city centre, so a good longish walk. Very hot and sunny out though.

We walked over the suspension bridge (above). Had lunch is a little tea-rooms. I had cream cheese sandwich with spring onion and salad and few crisps.
After a few hrs J said his knee was hurting and my back had started to hurt so we headed back to the car, bought and ate a cornetto on the way, silly me.
